Viral video: YouTuber visits one of Delhi’s poorest slums, netizens react, ‘India is like a WORLD’

Recently, in a Viral video, a US-based YouTuber visited Kusumpur Pahari, one of the poorest slums in Delhi, to see what it consists of and what hard lives people go through there every day.
The internet apparently can’t get enough of the vlog that has been put on the YouTube Channel ‘Chris Takes Off’.
Travel vlogger Chris visited the Delhi slum, filmed and pointed out the lack of water and toilets. He also talked about the terrible conditions he experienced.
Chris, who was visiting Kusumpur Pahari, tasted the local cuisine, was given rides by kind-hearted locals, and participated in conversations that moved him deeply.
His standout moment was being invited into a modest local home for a tour. Chris danced and said a few words to the family of the person who asked him to come visit his place.
The life of harsh conditions didn’t stop the residents from being the most hospitable people there. “I can’t even describe how this person dressed me with kindness and hospitality blew my mind!” Chris said.
I also went to a local barber and got a shave.
In the caption of his YouTube video, Chris wrote: In this video, I go through New Delhi’s poorest slum: Kusumpur Pahari. An area where water is delivered to people, and a toilet is a luxury. I sip chai with them, talk to them, sample local bites, and even get a shave from a local barbershop. These people were kind and hospitable; they blew my mind!”
Although published online, the video has since amassed over 45,312 views and hundreds of comments, fans of which love Chris ‘original content’ in his vlogs.
India is like a world, and it has everything. It is full of all the comforts and conveniences, but some live in subhuman status. You made me thank my life. Another commented, “Love and respect India.”
Another added, “Thanks, Chris, what a video!” I’m grateful to have experienced this through these videos, but I would never visit such places!
“Well done, Chris! Great and original vlog. And a user came to commend you, “You never give up, and you keep coming up with amazing and original content.”
“Topper keep following your dreams you deserve the success.”
However, a user also chimed in, saying, “I’d be a bit scared of the barber.”
“To be honest I’d have been a little afraid of that Barber: Despite not understanding a word of it, he seemed to only have one single facial expression. And I would say you actually have really powerful bravery to go to places that most of your viewers will never actually even walk to.”
