UGC NET June 2026 Re-Exam Results Announced
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the scorecards for the UGC NET June 2026 re-examination. This update covers specific papers including English, Commerce, and Sociology. Candidates who appeared for these tests can now access their scorecards online.
According to the report, the testing agency conducted the re-examination for these three subjects on September 9 and 10. The tests took place across 454 exam centres located in 272 cities nationwide. A total of 1,96,491 candidates had registered for these specific papers.
Breakdown of Qualified Candidates
Out of the total registered aspirants, 1,20,355 candidates actually appeared for the examination. Following the evaluation process, the NTA has announced the number of successful candidates across different categories:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): 824 candidates qualified.
- Assistant Professor Eligibility: 11,610 candidates qualified.
- PhD Admissions: 23,154 candidates qualified.
The registered pool included 1,29,552 female candidates, 66,931 male candidates, and eight third-gender candidates.
How the Results Were Processed
The NTA released the question papers, provisional answer keys, and recorded responses on September 10. Candidates were given time until September 13 to raise challenges against the provisional answers.
Subject experts verified all the challenges received from aspirants. The final results and scorecards were then processed strictly based on these finalised answer keys.
