  • Kiren Rijiju replaced Ravi Shankar Prasad to become the union minister for Law and Justice.
  • Ravi Shankar Prasad has resigned from the cabinet from his post of law minister the cabinet.
  • He is alumni of the Hansraj College, University of Delhi, and Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
  • Before this, he was appointed as the Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Youth Affairs, and Sports and Minority Affairs.
  • Kiren Rijiju belongs to the state of Arunachal Pradesh and is an active member of the Bhartiya Janta Party.
  • Kiren Rijiju is approx. 50 years old as he was born on 19 November 1971.
  • Kiren Rijiju is married to Rina Rijiju, their marriage was performed in the year 2004.
  • Kiren Rijiju was active in social work since his childhood.

  • In May 2019, Rijiju became Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of State for Minority Affairs.
  • Today, in July 2021 Rijiju has been allotted with Law Ministry.
