CCTV Footage Of Kanpur Woman At Gym On Day Trainer Murdered Her
New Delhi: Security camera footage is ready, which captured on CCTV a woman at a gym in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh on the day she died of asphyxiation after being strangled by her gym trainer; the latter buried the body in a VVIP area.
The woman can be seen inside the gym; she is wearing a red T-shirt with black trousers.
Her mortal remains were fished out from the water on Saturday close to the side of the Kanpur District Magistrate’s bungalow, four months after she was reported murdered. This accused, Vimal Soni, a gym trainer in the Green Park area, admitted before the police that he buried the body of the businessman’s wife in an area which had bungalows that belonged to government officials. Previously, the woman had disappeared on June 24, and the subsequent investigation conducted revealed that the woman was dead.
NDTV was informed that the body was found. The body was recovered from a portion of the District Magistrate’s residence where the camp office is located. The other part of the residence is the quarter of the bureaucrat, friends, and family. A flexible plaza, accompanied by a security post, is also nearby.
The gym from where the accused was hired and the woman was a member was a kilometre away from the scene of the crime. The woman had been a member there for 2.5 years.
Superintendent of Police DCP (North Kanpur) Shravan Kumar Singh, talking to reporters, said that she was angry with the man’s wedding getting fixed. On the day of the crime, she had come to the gym after twenty days, and the two of them had gone into the car to talk. A fight ensued, during which he hit her on the neck, after which she fell off conscious. He then murdered her.
