Every day we see something horrifying going on in Afghanistan. It is also evident that this overtake is not something new. The situation was worse in past. For knowing the reasons behind today’s condition, it is also necessary to visit the past and look into the status of the Taliban and Afghanistan back then.

History of Taliban

Taliban in general means students in the Pashto language. This emerged in the year 1994 in the city of Kandhar in Afghan. The members included were called “mujahideen” fighters. The founder and leader of the Taliban are Mullah Mohammad Omar. However, his death was confirmed in the year 2013 by his son. The Taliban was one of the major factors in the Afghan Civil War in 1994. Layer in 1996, the Taliban gained control over parts of the country and imposed their Sharia or Islamic Law.
The group then continued to force the imposition of its strict laws on people. This made the conditions of people vulnerable. Later in the year 2001, a war broke in which many of the militants die and the British Military personnel that has been serving in the country also lost their lives. This also led to war-like conditions between the US and the Taliban. However, in 2018 Taliban entered into a peace talk with the US and the US agreed to withdraw its troops which will prevent the Taliban from attacking the forces of the US.
This does not impose an end to the cruelty of the Taliban on Afghans. Afghan civilians and troops were being killed. Before this, the Taliban last ruled Afghanistan from the year 1996 to 2001. After being removed by the US forces, they became dormant. After the war in the US, the Northern Alliance, which is a group of Anti-Taliban, entered Kabul which led to the downfall of the Taliban in the city. Later, in the year 204, the Afghan Constitution was signed which provided for a way of presidential elections in the country. However, recently they have been again in dominance and are now rushing towards capturing the whole of Afghanistan.

Present Scenario in Afghanistan

Every news channel is broadcasting the news related to the Taliban invasion in Afghanistan and the conditions of people living there. The miserable condition can be seen through various pictures and videos. After entering into a peace bond with the US in 2020, the Taliban have taken undue advantage and have again started enforcing their laws on people. The place is again becoming a land of Taliban and directorship by them is becoming dominant.
The US troops have been in Afghanistan for 20 years but, they have asked to leave by September 11. These are the indications but, will lead to the withdrawal. After this withdrawal, the security for civilians will degrade automatically and people will face the same conditions as in 1996. People are trying to escape the country to save their lives.

What happened to the President of Afghanistan?

The invasion of the Taliban in Afghanistan was not less threatening than their President also fled away. President Ashraf Ghani left the country on Sunday and claimed that the Taliban have won. This action of the President also gave a chance to the Taliban to rule over the country. This made them more confident. Followed by this action of the President, the Taliban captured the presidential palace too. This has threatened the citizens of the country. The statements of the President state that the Taliban will now be responsible for the honor and property of Afghanistan. He also added they are testing their past. They have two ways, either they can restore their pride or can give chance to bloodshed wars.
This action of the President does not seem to be voluntary but, nothing can be said until we get confirmation from some of the sources. This also leads to the end of Presidential rule in Afghanistan and will also lead to the non-functioning of their constitution. This will allow the Taliban to impose their own rules and regulations and force people to follow them.

Why are people escaping from Afghanistan?

The question is not a crucial one as history says it all. In People, there have been living in peace for 20 years and have now been habituated for that however before that Taliban had made the living and survival of people in Afghanistan crucial and had forced their Sharia laws on them this made people follow the rules that were enforced by Taliban and were also forced to follow laws. The main problem that exists with the Taliban ruling is that many of the conditions become miserable and many of the people lose their rights. The most prominent one is for women won’t be allowed to work and go for their rights on also many of such things will be imposed. this is threatening people and also making them aware that they won’t be able to live in a free and my mint and they will lose all their hopes of survival in some years.
Some images had gone viral on social media and also news channels that Taliban have been removing the images of women that were there in front of stores this shows that albums are strictly against women empowerment and this will lead to the downfall of the countries economy and the condition of women too. Not only this but all other religions that are existing in Afghanistan other than Muslims will also come to an end and people will be forced to convert themselves into Muslims. People will be forced to follow Islamic law and do the work that Talibans will assign them this will also put a full stop on the corporate world that exist in Afghanistan and the people who have been working there from other countries will also come in danger. Therefore to save themselves and run away from this miserable condition people are trying to go to their own countries now and also citizens that live there are also trying to flee.

Conclusion

As we see the ruling of the Taliban does not hold any positive past and the same was called the present this shows that the conditions that will come in feature will be more miserable. One of the major examples is the removal of US militants from the country this will help the Taliban to capture most of the part which is not under their control now and will also allow them to info some illegal things. There have to be some steps that can be taken by the other countries to save the people living in Afghanistan otherwise the other countries will also be affected by this ruling of the Taliban in Afghanistan and people there will start losing their lives. This may also lead to another war in the world but this has become a necessary step that can be taken for saving the other countries too.
